President Trump is a complete disgrace.
Never mind all the facepalm-worthy things this man has hitherto committed. Let’s treat these as foolish capers in an age of levity and lack of consequence, but when it comes to the gravity that the COVID-19 pandemic has visited upon the country, indeed the entire world, Trump’s behavior is downright shameful!
In times of crisis, a leader’s role is to demonstrate strength and resilience, to stand upright and look danger in the eye, to unite the people, and demonstrate through leadership that we shall overcome. Instead, Trump has ignored, dismissed, and played down the very real threat to people’s lives and the economy, laid the blame for his failures elsewhere, and continued to do nothing until “President” Nancy Pelosi demanded that he get his damned ass in gear and start acting like a leader!
Yes, WTF!
True, COVID-19 itself cannot be blamed on President Trump, but how poorly and how slowly the United States has reacted to the threat of COVID-19 can be squarely laid at Trump’s incompetent feet, given how many months warning we had by way of the outbreak hitting China first: We had months of early warning, but President Trump did nothing, nothing to prepare the nation for the onslaught until more than a thousand Americans had been sickened, and over a hundred had died.
What kind of a leader gives a fuck that people die?
It’s because Trump is not leader, but a self-aggrandizing loafer, a petty child, whose only focus is himself; he barely knows what to do even after “President” Nancy Pelosi told him what do to!
Make no mistake, Donald J. Trump is an incompetent buffoon, unfit to lead anyone, much less the nation, and those who have supported him in congress are complicit in the catastrophe to economy and lives that is now unfolding in the United States. Every vote for him in November will be a vote from America’s enemies in opposition of the American Dream.
